Well after that awful photo yesterday I decided I'd post a slightly better one today. And yes, that's a blue feather in my hair. I'm nuts I know. I just love life so much! Be happy, be not afraid to dance for how you look, twirl and smile, enjoy each moment. Tell your friends how much you love them. Call someone you haven't spoken to for some time. Don't have regrets.
Now July is about over so we'll have the dog days of August next. Hot and sultry days, long lazy naps in the shade of the balcony, swims in the pool, cards, what a life I have! Do I appreciate it? Heck yeah I do. Every day I give thanks for it too.
So let's recap yesterday, I went swimming for so long when I got back upstairs all I could do was get a shower and into my jammies. Exhausted! Sunburned! Happy! Tired! So I just vegged out the rest of the day. Today I'll get busy somehow though. There is nothing on the calendar but I'm not staying home again. Maybe I'll wear my gold medal too! Ha!
One of my MahJong gals is having her knee replaced today. I'll be thinking about her all day. I know she'll be fine though. She's a golfer and walks a lot. She's a sweetheart.
Go out and have a wonderful day y'all. Me too...
Lovely post today.

I love how you're so upbeat Bee, thankful for what you have and happy. Bless you. xxxx
ReplyDeleteKnee replacement is a lot more painful then my hip replacement--which is painful enough--but you are right--she will do just fine and physical therapy afterwards will have her walking again--although her golfing is done for the next number of months. Wish I could Bee More Upbeat!
ReplyDeleteYou are nuts! Nutty but nice! That's one of the things I love most about you!
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day! big hugs xoxo
What a wonderful beautiful photo Bee. You don't realize how good looking you are but that's just me.
ReplyDeleteThis morning we have to take AmyLynn to the doctor's office. She got bit by a bee yesterday at work and at the same time I have a meeting with a friend. I loved my talk with you. Mary Lou heard some of our talk because some of it was on the machine. She heard the part when I said I showed lose weight. That was bad. Oh well.
We have to go now. See you.
Paul
I think of you every time I am swimming - maybe one day we can have a US/Canada showdown!!
ReplyDeleteI'll be out of the pool for a few weeks, I have minor foot surgery tomorrow and won't be able to get my foot wet.
Now if I could only swim with one foot out of the water the whole time .... Mmmmm - maybe that could be a new Olympic event!!! Love the blue feather.
Looking good girl. I have only know you a short time and I can see the difference in your photos. :):) xo, Susie
ReplyDeleteYour August schedule sounds PERFECT! Wish I could spend mine swimming and napping. But I will enjoy the last days of summer by staying in the a/c, working, watching the Olympics, sewing for my grand-daughter, and scrapbooking, with maybe an occasional nap or two, so I can't complain.
ReplyDeleteAnd, by the way, that blue feather looks darling. Love it.
Have a wonderful day. Hugs...
Styling and smiling...tits! Enjoy your day.
ReplyDeleteBig hugs, honey...

Great motivation today! I love the feather. I had one in my hair fow awhile last year. When I came home from the salon with it, my husband asked if I ran into a turkey on the way home. I had no idea what he was talking about.... for a few seconds!
ReplyDeleteWhen Megan and I were in the kiddie pool yesterday (12 x 36") I decided to "run" laps. I didn't realize that was such good exercise until later that night when my legs hurt, you know, the muscle pain that tells you that you used them for a change! Lol. And to boot, Megan had a ton of fun floating in the whirlpool I made. :) Big WIN!
LOVE the feather!. I'm donning a head scarf today! It matches my tee shirt. casual day today at my house...
ReplyDeleteLife is indeed wonderful!
Hope your friend's knee replacement goes well.
I love that you have a feather in your hair. You are just so much fun!!
ReplyDeleteBig Hugs,
Bobbi
To quote Billy Crystal as Fernando Lamas - "You look... mahvelous!"
ReplyDeleteBTW - nice medal yesterday. The competition was fierce, but you overcame all that adversity.
Jon
I like this photo of you, Bee.
ReplyDeleteThe feather is a nice touch! I'm laughing at mister jeter harris' comment!
P.S. On Thursday I saw my surgeon for a six-month checkup. I complained about some joint pain and she suggested I take fish oil.
ReplyDeleteShe said another patient had raved to her about how much it helped.
I went out and bought it immediately, and of course I thought of you. ;-)
I must say I've been having some really weird dreams since Thursday.
